The Training Ward is an enemy in Sinjid Shadow of the Warrior that appears during training. There are three variations, each stronger than the last.

Training Wards serve as an easy way to level up. Each time Sinjid inflicts damage on the training ward, he will gain a predetermined amount of experience. However, each hit costs Sinjid some of his energy. However, Sinjid can end the battle at anytime. If he has gained enough energy to level up, his energy will automatically replenish.

There are essentially three levels of training granted by the training wards. Basic Training is easy enough to be done from Level 1 on. Each hit costs 2 energy points and grants 3 experience points. The Second Level, Training, recommends that Sinjid be at least Level 5. Each hit cost 3 energy points but gives 5 experience points. The third level, Advanced Training, suggests a level of 10 before trying it. Each hit costs 10 energy points but gives 20 experience points. Should Sinjid attack a ward that has its shield points depleted, the experience given will double, with no change in energy costs. It should be noted that non-damaging options, such as Charge, Heal, or the use of items, cost no energy. This can be used to prolong a battle to ensure greater experience gains.
